Against Melee bosses I find that simply using Auspicious Parry, Deadly Riposte and Riposte more than enough, with them covering Healing Signet in the case of regen. For example Captain Mhedi or Corporal Suli, both can easily be taken out with out any fear of dying by utilizing those 3 skills. You can always have one up to avoid damage.
But your Grenth Balance build makes it very easy to solo Non-Melee bosses, appreciate it Works lovely against those Necro and Paragon bosses I've been hunting

well, thx for all questions that were answered (at least in my case). have just a small ask ^^ mark which bosses can be taken with the "beta" build (ripostes) and which require sever/gash combo or just any (oh well that's one hell of lazyness i guess), anyways almost all warrior/dervish bosses can be taken out with ripostes, rest are sever/gash or any specific notes for specific bosses??
(yeh... kill me... xD this build rox, all the effort to put this all together, ur my hero ^^)

They are seperated.... theres about 16 bosses with the GB/Ripotse build, then below them theres a few sentences saying another build GB/Sever 10 bosses below that, maybe didnt look close enough?

You can. Make sure to call your target repeatedly (So they don't gang up on the boss and kill him too early.), then, once it's only the boss left, flag them far enough away that their names turn grey on your team roster. This removes them from the XP/Drop table, so any and all drops and XP will go to you.
After you take out their groups the bosses are pushovers. I'd been using this build (with a very slight variation. I hate Healing Signet.) to farm greens in Cantha. After a very fruitful weekend (over three dozen greens, no foolin'.), I'm glad to see it's working still.

Just wanted to add also with other guy, Auspicious Parry is much better then Genths Balance...at least thats been my experiance. I never have to heal with replacing that instead of Grenths. I've tried all the dervish bosses you've got posted...so I know it's not just certain ones.
VERY nice build though..thanks for the nice build post...!!

Auspicious Parry could work fine, but remember, when you heal 300 hp with GB, you also deal 300 dmg to the boss. So imo GB is faster.

In the time you use GB once, you can spam Auspicious Parry/Riposte over and over.
Remember, the cost of Auspicious Parry is ONE adrenalin.
Against melee opponents, Auspicious parry/riposte/deadly riposte is a very good, very fast killer.
However, when farming places like Barbarous Shore, I prefer to use the grenth build, as it allows me to farm the Paragon and Mesmer bossess as well.
GB is much more "univerally" useful build, whilst AP/Riposte build is strickly anti-melee, however effective.

Still works. But only if you want to farm for greens, thanks to the stupid loot scaling.
